Ms. Nancy Boros
Ms Nancy. Boros is the Director of Administrative Services. She manages the operations of school’s administrative offices and the computer network. Ms. Boros has a B.S. in Education from Illinois State University. Ms. Boros was the Athletic Director and Physical Education instructor at St. Scholastica Academy from 1980 to 1987. She also taught computer classes from 1985 to 1987. During that time, she coached the Varsity Basketball and Softball teams. Ms. Boros is the Recording Secretary of the Girls Catholic Athletic Conference and was inducted into the conference’s Hall of Fame in 2005.
Ms. Christine Curran
Ms. Christine Curran has worked at St. Scholastica Academy since 2000. Ms. Curran is the Registrar and Assistant to the Vice Principal. She has two daughters who are alumnae of St. Scholastica Academy.
Ms. Jackie LeSanche
Ms. Jackie LeSanche is the School Secretary and Secretary to the Principal. Ms. LeSanche began her career at St. Scholastica in 1982 as a part-time clerk in the Guidance Department. During her years at St. Scholastica Academy, she has been secretary to five principals.
Ms. Elaine Manson
Ms. Elaine Manson has been at St. Scholastica Academy since 2006 as the Student Life Assistant. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She holds teaching certificates for primary, intermediate and upper grades. In addition, she holds a certificate for high school English. In the course of a school day, Ms. Manson might be found assisting in the cafeteria or library, supervising a co-curricular activity, or providing tutoring to individual students. She is available to assist students as particular needs may arise.
Mr. Steve Adams
Mr. Adams has been the Technology Coordinator at St. Scholastica Academy since 2008. His teaching career began with his graduation from Loyola University Chicago in 2001 with a B.A. in History and a minor in Secondary Education. He taught evening school at Evanston Township High School. For seven years, Mr. Adams was a social studies teacher at St. Matthias Transfiguration School. While at St. Matthias, he was instrumental in successfully implementing project based learning, and in integrating technology into the classroom. Since August 2006, he has have been an instructor for the Archdiocese Office of Professional Development in Educational Technology. Mr. Adams is currently working on his master’s degree in Political Science at Northeastern Illinois University.
