Ms. Loretta A. Namovic has been the President of St. Scholastica Academy since 2006. Prior to becoming President, Ms. Namovic was Executive Assistant to the President of Loyola University Chicago, a position she held from 1999 to 2006. Previously at Loyola she was Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Director of Development Communications. She has also served as a freelance grant writer. Her teaching experience includes Director of the College English Program at St. Augustine College in Chicago and Composition Instructor in the community college system in Illinois.
Ms. Namovic attended Marquette University on a National Merit Scholarship where she earned a BA in English with a minor in Business Administration. She earned an MA in English from Marquette University as well.
A St. Scholastica Academy graduate from the Class of 1984, Ms. Namovic has served on and chaired the Academy's Board of Directors. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Education Institute. She is also a member of the Leadership Council for Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Chicago. She is very involved in her parish, Queen of Angels in Chicago, and serves as a member of the Eucharistic Ministers team.
