Go MAD (Go Make A Difference): Service Retreat
SSA has a tradition of an end-of-the-year service project in which faculty, staff and students can all participate. In 2012, Go MAD is again planned for the four days immediately following the end of school.
For the past two years, Go MAD participants have stayed on campus during the retreat and traveled to charitable organizations in Chicago to offer helping hands at whatever tasks needed doing.
In 2012, CMS hopes to bring a group of students to Glenmary Farm in Kentucky at the end of the school year on a week-long service project. |

Service Projects: CMS students often bring their favorite charities to the attention of fellow Scholasticans. Service projects in the past have included:
- Raising money for Haitian earthquake relief
- Raising funds for Deborah's place
- Collecting donations of food for local food banks, including pet food for local shelters
- Collecting mittens, scarves and gloves and shoes
- Collecting toys for children at Christmas
