Big / Little Sisters

It's not easy adjusting to high school life. But at SSA, every freshmen "little sister" gets a "big sister" from the senior class to help her along the way.

Early in the year, a senior class committee matches every senior with one or two students in the freshmen class. For the rest of the year, Big and Little sisters are a team. The Little Sisters always have someone to go to for information and advice.

Big Sisters welcome their new Little Sisters at a party during Homeroom  in September. Some of the fun events Big and Little Sisters participate together in are the Halloween costume contest and Spirit week costume events. Little Sisters also support their Big Sisters who participate in Growl.

The Big / Little Sisters moderator is Sr. Mary Ann O'Ryan.
